Data Scientist

Role Overview:

We are working with an innovative organisation at the cutting edge of technology, looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join their growing analytics function. You will play a critical role in turning complex data into actionable insights, working across product, engineering, and commercial teams to drive data-led decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy predictive models using Python, R, SQL, or other data science tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into analytical problems
• Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and anomalies
• Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing to support product and marketing decisions
• Build dashboards and visualisations that clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work alongside data engineers to improve data pipelines and model performance
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging machine learning techniques

Requirements:

• Strong experience with data science tools such as Python, R, SQL, and libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow
• Proven track record of solving business problems through data modelling and analysis
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly and confidently
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) and version control systems (Git)
• Degree in a quantitative field (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar)
